SR. CLIENT OPERATIONS MANAGER
DANICA BASTIDAS-MIRANDA
Danica is an experienced client service professional with over 15 years of experience in digital marketing and production.
After grinding it through school studying information technology management and digital marketing, she started her career in tech working for global companies ATI/AMD and Sony. Danica was part of the very first internet team (yes, when it was still called the internet) and quickly got things organized setting up global workflows/processes for digital work and e-commerce solutions. Her role included many aspects ranging from project management, design, copywriting, and occasionally she pretended to be a developer. She was proud to be able to take her computer apart and rebuild it, worked alongside top gamers, and was a total sponge.
After a few years, digital marketing agencies in the city started to pop up. Attracted to the creativity and excitement she jumped agency-side to one of Toronto’s top marketing agencies CapC (Marketing Agency of The Year). The team was just getting started and Danica again enjoyed assisting in setting up operations and dabbling in a variety of projects – everything from digital strategy, analytics, design, media, SEO, and a ton of inter-agency work. She helped manage the acquisition/merger of an integrated digital team and saw the digital department grow from 5 staff to over 40. During her time agency-side, she worked as a client services supervisor on award-winning clients/campaigns such as Dove and The Dove Campaign For Real Beauty (Cannes Lion Award Winner).
Fast forward a few years, she meets a really cool guy and together they decide to take a jump into the entrepreneurial world while starting a family together. Danica and her husband put their minds together and birthed one of the first Muay Thai (martial arts) and Wellness companies in the city, growing through 4 locations. Again, enjoying wearing many hats, Danica happily took up operations and designed the backend of the company everything from HR/Finance, through customer service, memberships, and marketing. Once the family business was established, Danica moved back into the marketing world and set up shop as a boutique agency servicing some of her former clients from her agency days along with a variety of lovely local entrepreneurs and start-ups.
Most recently Danica held ground as a digital client director servicing multi-national brands in the retail e-commerce and CPG space. Danica is always eager to jump in and conquer something new, can boot up photoshop or illustrator to get a deck looking fancy, and is always happy to share learnings and experience.
Outside of work, Danica is a proud Mama to 3 beautiful/energetic kids and a new furry covid-puppy (currently accepting training tips :), loves big families and the outdoors, and is an aspiring pro-climate nerd.

SENIOR ADVISOR, VIDEO
SHARON GROH
Sharon comes to APR with over 35 years of experience in Advertising and Commercial Production. She started as a print and broadcast producer at an award-winning agency in her home town of Chicago and quickly transitioned into the role of commercial line producer — eventually moving to Los Angeles. Sharon’s role as a producer has always involved being the diplomat, teacher and “den mother” —connecting client, agency and production company while generating long lasting relationships with them and the crews and vendors that help to make a successful production happen.
Sharon has enjoyed producing not only in North America, but all over the globe. She has worked on productions large and small, for broadcast and digital and from conception through deliverables — working with “real” people and celebrity talent and athletes. She has also worked as a bidder and executive producer. When she started, production assistants were sent with a notebook and a roll of quarters to a payphone and video assist was black and white (if at all) — so she has seen and grown up with the changes in commercial production and the knowledge that has come along with it.
12 years ago, Sharon and her husband moved to Bend, Oregon (despite the apartment she keeps in Hollywood) to raise their two, now adult sons. When she can break away from her computer, she enjoys all the outdoor activities Bend has to offer and still finds time to serve on the 4-person board of a local non-profit The Good Thought Good Action Foundation, which provides training and college assistance scholarships to kids in non-traditional sports.
